Atlas Cafe is a staple in the Comox Valley with a dedication to fresh, delicious, accessible local food and casual dining. This year, they will host a wine flight and pasta evening, teaming up with the award-winning Beaufort Winery and Prontissima Pasta.

 

 

 

Avenue Bistro is a Comox favorite known for its wonderful take on local cuisine and funky, fun atmosphere. This year, Avenue will host a seafood celebration with Denmann Island’s Hollie Wood Oysters.

 

 

 

The Valley’s newest fruit winery is already producing award-winning vintages and wowing visitors with its spectacular location. Spend a warm summer evening this year taking a tour of the winery, taste testing their sparkling wine and enjoying oysters on the deck with live music.

 

 

Fanny Bay Oysters and its operations are some of the most renown shellfish in North America. Take a rare peek inside its plant in Fanny Bay with a great tour and enjoy.

 

 

 

 

Flying Canoe West Coast Pub and its new team are creating delicious local food experiences for local folks and guests to the Comox Valley. Come join them this year for a delicious summer beach party.

 

 

 

Locals – Food From The Heart of the Island is the Comox Valley’s premiere local food restaurant. The Food Challenge Yummy Award winner two years running, this team of locavores has proven that Vancouver Island food is full of powerful stories.

 

 

 

Mad Chef Cafe brings its style and sense of fun to all of its amazing food. Never short on creativity, this team is hosting a day packed with food art and good eats this year.

 

 

 

 

The Old House Restaurant is the Comox Valley’s most notable destination dining. Taking that experience to the next level, they are also creating fantastic food events including this year’s Local Libations local cocktail competition. Come and enjoy oysters and other local deliciousness on their deck as 16 local bartenders face off to see who can create the tastiest local cocktail.

 

 

The place where families of all shapes and sizes stop to eat in the Comox Valley, Plates hosts a yummy local BBQ this year featuring local beef, seafood and more.

 

 

 

 

The Comox Valley’s largest pumpkin producer, Shamrock Farms is a favorite stop for thousands of local families. This year, they open their doors a few months early (October is their high season) to show off the farm with demos, lavender distilling, barnyard animals and tours of the pumpkin patch.

 

 

Shelter Point Distillery opens its doors to the public for the first time this summer as it begins production of its fine spirits. Folks can experience this gorgeous distillery and sample some delicious food as they open the Food Challenge this year.

 

 

 

This winery/farm/chef’s table trio of Blue Moon Winery, Nature’s Way Farm and Tria Culinary Studio create breathtaking culinary experiences. Last year’s Yummy Award Winner will take you on a tour of wines, blueberries and taste buds this year as a part of the Food Challenge.

 

 

Wandering Moose Cafe is teaming up with the Comox Valley’s Royston Roasting Company to host the first Comox Valley Barista Championship & Latte Art Competition. Set in the quaint Village of Cumberland, this combination will mean a day filled with fun, tasty treats and the charm of small-town British Columbia.
